You would think that you could die anywhere that you unfortunately happened to be at that moment in time. This is not always legal. In fact, you would be breaking the law if you chose to drop dead in the Houses of Parliament in the UK!!
So if you are planning to drop dead, please remember not to go to the houses of parliament. Unless you want to spend the rest of your life in prison. Life? Oh! Ops!

In the UK, a pregnant woman can relieve herself anywhere. Apparently even in a policeman’s hat. I wonder what prompted this law!

In France it is illegal to call a pig Napoleon. I wonder if that stretches to the Gendarme too? I also wonder if the inverse is also true?

I have had it with shops. I really think they are taking the Mickey! You go in to shops like M&S and TKMAXX and spend a small fortune and they have the cheek to ask you to pay for bags!!
I went into TKMAXX recently and spent a substantial amount of money and was informed that as from the 4th August they started charging for bags. This time they were giving a free bag but next time I had to pay. I said, well if I have to pay to carry my things out, then I would not be shopping there again. I was then told… “but it goes to the Woodland Trust”. She was also very dismissive about passing on my comment that then I shall refrain from purchasing there again. Like I should be pleased they are insisting on deciding where my hard earned cash goes!
First of all, for all they know, I may not approve of their chosen charity. Second of all bags cost a fraction of a penny as they purchase in such bulk, yet they are trying to make a profit on the bags they are selling us! Thirdly, they have already inbuilt the price of the bags into their costs. I have not seen the products go down by the cost of the bags!! Also, the least they can do is be courteous enough to give their customers a miserly bag to carry the stuff they just purchased home.
If they want to talk about environmental issues, then perhaps they ought to provide paper rather than plastic bags (eg PRIMARK).
I was actually shocked how many customers just took this ill treatment in their stride.
I mean fair enough they make a profit of the items I buy but making a profit on the plastic bags to carry my purchases home is insulting.
So from my behalf, I will be refusing to pay for any bags to carry my new purchases home. In fact, I shall still be going regularly to the shops, picking up items and when they speak of charging me for a bag, I will refuse to purchase. I think that should make the point. After all, it is tantamount to being charged for cutlery when you go out to eat!!

I was watching Super Botox Me on TV … and in case you are wondering, it is because I would not rule out botox in the future. It brought tears to my eyes. It looks painful. I am aware of the saying “no pain - no gain” but seriously this looks painful. And why do we do it? So we can look as close to picture perfect as humanly possible. We just want to look like those airbrushed models and celebrities!
Will I do consider it despite the pain. You bet! I am as shallow as the rest of the human population. Now to fund those few thousand quid every few months!!

I have always thought of dying as quite morbid but well aparently there are some ways where it nearly doesn’t sound so bad…
And some people will actually experience death more than once…. I am refering to Derek Jones who died 31 times!!

I bet it is not the first time that you have heard people comparing prison to a hotel. Well I think this takes the biscuit…. someone found $55,000 hidden away in a toilet in prison.
Seriously, not even when you travel on holiday do you carry that kind of money. I, like most, actually do not have that kind of money, let alone having it run around in a water closet!!
Perhaps I ought to consider a spell in Prison. Could do with the extra finances. Who said crime doesn’t pay?

This is why the world is screwed up. A woman decides she wants to be a man. Fine. Takes hormones to turn into a man but refuses to give up her female essence. She / he (not sure if I should say he or she) even decides to follow through and have a baby! Baby was not even conceived naturally. Isn’t this a case of having the cake and eating it?
Can you imagine what this poor baby will have to face? Can you imagine this poor child how screwed she will be?
Yes - the transgendered person (yes, a new word for these screwed up people) had a baby girl (girl for now).

I thought that freedom of speech was a basic human right but apparently there are exceptions to every rule.
Rules have been passed against people saying what they think on T-shirts as it may cause annoyance or inconvenience to some people!
They will soon tell me that I am not allowed my Carper Diem on my blog as it might annoy or be inconvenient to some people.

I know the cost of living keeps creeping up and up… but this is ridiculous!! A woman received a £90 million bill for her pre pay electricity.
Seriously speaking we would all notice an error of £90 million but let us say there is an error of £20, would you actually notice it? No. I didn’t think so. Makes you wonder how many “mistakes” actually go by unnoticed. £20 on everyone’s bill would soon tot up to £90 million… and yet will it make the news? Will anyone notice? We are talking only £20 on our bill!
