Think about it! Is it fair? Yet it is done. It is the story of Adam and Eve all over again. Apparently, we do not learn from our mistakes! Let’s take the rest of the world down with us!

One was for a dog’s rescue centre and the other was the NSPCC for the protection of children. Interestingly, the charity for the dogs rescue asked for twice the amount that the charity for the protection of children was asking for. This begets the question, “Is the life of the dog worth more? Or is it that it really costs minute amounts to protect children (and as a society, we still don’t)?

There are issues of cruelty on both counts, however, for the point of this post, I won’t go into the morality. I am taking the fact that people awarded capital punishment deserve it and all they get, as fact.

I feel that if someone has commit a crime so heinous as to deserve capital punishment, than the least that the person can do is automatically give back to the community by “donating” their organs.

Does it make you wonder about the validity of paying surplus to watch something live and then pause it to watch it on delay?

Rumour has it that things will settle in around a year. But then that is what it is… Rumour!

People see the current property market as a negative situation. However I feel that the way you see it is obviously very dependant on your own economic situation. In my case, the situation is actually a positive one as I am looking to buy a property but not sell. It gives me to opportunity to buy low and not have to sell low. It also means that as the property recovers, I can hopefully make a killing. However, it is all about perspective.

With increased mortgage rates, people may struggle to pay their mortgage and have to sell and perhaps downsize or rent. But as people are hesitant to buy because they hope the prices drop further or because they hope they will get more for their property, it means the market slows down. It means that selling quickly gets harder. People can use business services, where they can get cash for property instantaneously. Not an easy choice, but sometimes it works out being the lesser of two evils. It is better to sell at a lower rate quickly than to lose a house to repossession (and lose a lot of money).

Meanwhile, I shall be keeping my eye open for a good buy. With the market being what it is, I hope it means that I can get myself a good deal.

As I said… it is all about perspective!

Will I do consider it despite the pain. You bet! I am as shallow as the rest of the human population. Now to fund those few thousand quid every few months!!

Fair enough. I fall into the latter category as you may have obviously realised. Mind you, so do most people. Thinking about it, so do the people who try to be charming fall into the tedious category. Are there any truly charming people? Are all people simply tedious? Hmmm….
