Man commits suicide on the internet!

Posted by grumbler on April 2nd, 2007 — Posted in Penny Thoughts, blog

A man recently decided to commit suicide and decided to broadcast his death to the world. It was a choice he made for reasons unknown but a choice he made none the less. Yet his family are all upset and have condemned that people are circulating his final images online. Firstly they are not respecting his choice to his 5 minutes of fame and death and secondly what right to they have to dictate what images I may like to keep and what I might not!

May Kevin Whitrick Rest in Peace and may his 5 minutes of fame last another 5 minutes!

I feel no one could possibly know what this man was or wasn’t going through the days leading to this tragic choice of his. Yes, his family will be devastated, and the children missing thier father, whom it is said was very close to them.I am personally sick of seeing nothing but negative things said regarding his death or what he as a person felt compelled to do, those who have never lived through those darkest hours of true clinical depression could never fully appreciate the strength it takes not to kill yourself, something that promises you eternal peace, to a logical rational, non depressed person thoughts like this will sound absurd, In honor of Kevin I have created a memorial place , somewhere people can go leave condolences and tributes to not his choice of death, but rather in memory for the person he was and the beautiful way he lived his life while among us.

It is quite impressive how this man seems to have struck a chord with so many people.
